Our participation in the Maison&Objet show

For 25 years, the Maison & Objet fair has been an international fair for professionals in the art of living, decoration and design, which welcomed more than 80,000 visitors during its last edition in January 2020. This is an opportunity for them to come and discover new products and look for new suppliers. It is also an opportunity for exhibiting companies to showcase their know-how and increase their visibility on a competitive international market.

This event facilitates the meeting between suppliers and potential buyers. The organizers of the show estimate the amount of commercial transactions carried out over 5 days of the show at 2 billion euros. 2,736 brands were represented at this show with a majority of international brands. Indeed, 71 countries were represented during the last edition.

The brands are broken down by sector of activity: fashion accessories , home accessories, etc.

Our team was located in the fashion accessories sector!

 

An essential meeting 

 

The BtoBtoC journey

 

A little more than a year ago, we created a sales department dedicated to professionals called BtoB (business to business) with the aim of developing our brand image and sharing our values ​​ever further.

We have chosen to collaborate with resellers in order to offer direct sales to their customers and thus build a BtoBtoC journey.

We have therefore set up a website dedicated to our resellers in order to allow a simple organization and total autonomy for their order taking. Our basic digital strategy was respected while diversifying our distribution channels. In order to increase the visibility of the brand and to develop the BtoB activity, we decided to participate for the first time in the Maison & Objet fair in Paris.

This event allowed us to measure the attractiveness of our brand and the values ​​we advocate such as made in France , eco-responsibility and our involvement in favor of professional integration and disability .

For our brand, it is fundamental to position ourselves on this type of event to increase our network of resellers.

At a show like this, and especially in the “ fashion accessories” sector, competition is omnipresent, it was important for us to stand out. Our quality products 100% made in France , our social and environmental initiatives as well as our beneficial corporate policies for resellers, are essential assets to ensure the sustainability of our brand.

The people who visited us on our stand particularly appreciated the dynamics of our company, in particular the latest creation of a wooden bracelet from 100% eco-responsible sustainably managed forests. Manufactured by an EPV, our bracelet is still available on the site in several colors.

Our sales team as well as the two founders of the brand, Charles and Louis, were present at this show and were able to highlight the history of French wind and discuss with their future collaborators.

Our team made its first edition at the Maison & Objet fair and does not regret having taken part.

This event allowed us to broaden our target and create new collaborations on a national and international scale.

In order to develop our international positioning, we have translated our communication media and our website dedicated to our resellers into English. This development represents a real evolution for our brand and its future.

A little over a year after the creation of the sales department, we have built up a network of more than a hundred resellers which continues to grow.

It is thanks to our presence at major events such as Maison & Objet that we will be able to increase our visibility and reach as many prospects as possible.

We are present on different communication channels such as social networks in order to highlight the image of the brand.

Participating in trade fairs allows us to meet our future customers and have a direct exchange with our prospects. This exchange allows a different interaction from the one we are used to practice by email or telephone. For the second edition of the Maison & Objet show , which will take place from September 4 to 8, 2020, our team is preparing on various new products to continue to satisfy our customers.
