Our collaboration with Kipli

Who is Kipli?

 

A nice story…

 

Today we want to tell you about Kipli. The brand was born in 2017, when the co-founders, Antoine Loredo and Davide Ballotta, decided to set sail for a new, more responsible way of life. Their objective ? Joining forces to reinvent our interiors, in terms of furniture and bedding, by making the ambitious bet to bet on ecology and respect for the environment.

This project is the fruit of a family know-how, since it is none other than Mario, Davide's uncle, who discovered in natural latex the material of tomorrow from his native Italian land. He then became a pioneer in the bedding sector by devoting his life to the design of mattresses with the specificity of having a heart of 100% natural latex. In order to ensure a deserved continuity, the adventure continues with the Kipli brand, where the two friends, Antoine and Davide, are dedicated to revolutionizing the bedding industry.

Natural products

 

You must know that 90% of the mattresses purchased are made from petroleum derivatives, and are therefore absolutely not environmentally friendly. This is what motivates Kipli to develop a range of ecological possibilities, such as the 100% natural latex mattress, which does not include any synthetic foam. In this same responsible approach, the brand offers a “clean” pillow with technology and materials similar to the mattress.

These two products are made in Italy where one of the only three natural latex factories in Europe is located, the others being located in Belgium and Bulgaria. The brand also offers a range of furniture made in France, from solid French beech wood, PEFC certified.

In the desire to equip the whole bedroom in a healthy way, the brand now offers a range of bed linen made of GOTS-certified organic cotton.

It is quite naturally that we decided to set up a collaboration in association with Kipli because we share many values ​​in terms of eco-responsibility. We are committed to promoting the importance of short circuits, thanks to local manufacturing (in France and Italy for Kipli, in France exclusively for Le Vent à la Française) which guarantees artisanal quality and healthy working conditions.

Being able to help the environment is a mission that inspires us mutually, since we have both selected beech wood from eco-managed forests for the manufacture of our products. Whether it's Le Vent à la Française, through our collection of wooden bracelets and recycled polyester ropes, or Kipli, with its range of integrated beds and box springs.

Our teams are committed to a real social and ecological approach, we are committed to being able to contribute to the well-being of people and the planet. Thus, it seemed obvious to support, by setting up donation campaigns, the Handisport AuRA Line, Boomforest or the NGO Sea Shepherd, in order to work for social and environmental causes. Every little step counts, and that's what we keep in mind!

 

A joint competition

 

It's time to announce the Instagram contest that we had fun developing with Kipli.

Two winners had the chance to win, each, a 100% natural latex pillow surrounded by an organic cotton cover, as well as a 925° Silver bracelet, namely: “ Le Vent d’argent d’Aubier ” .
